Yes, I have been drooling over Going Dutch, Purple Serenade, Princess Caroline, and Buisson de Roses for ages. It was my aim to get them this summer, even if I had to get each one from a different source, which was exactly what happened, I think.

I like Going Dutch because it's yellow without being glaring yellow. It should play well with others. Tom says it multiplies well, too. Once it does, maybe I can pass some on to you.

In this crazy world, its difficult to figure out plans and timing. However, in spite of world wide upheaval, I haven't lost hope of creating my own collection even if they aren't the original AIS registered. I honestly doubt that my attraction to bearded irises is in the way of anyone so I should be able to figure out ways around paramount obstacles. Starting from seed is one...

Those are beautiful irises, but 'Alphaville' is breath-taking!

Strange that the bee pods on Bad Intentions which is a very dark purple ( I have grown it) come out a mixture of yellow & brown. Wonder where the bee had landed.

For Me especially his SDBs. Love the form. Daughter return to Ohio with I.cristata 'Precious Pearl' by David Schmeider. It won an award of Merit this year. So happy for him.

Oh Mika, I drool over your Z' not only because the amazing work accumulated by those wonderful Eastern European hybridizers but also with such euphonic names: it adds imho charm and zest. I have a soft spot for Slavic languages. It just is so heartbreaking to see them waging war . I 🙏 that it ceases asap although it looks so far away...
