I promised to get a picture of a bud with an open bloom and FINALLY managed to do that. About 1/4 of the way through my 2nd flush of the year. :(

You may be right about it being Neptune if you purchased the plant in a nursery. Only Weeks and Star Roses still have wide distribution to the the nursery trade. It's still under patent protection, so I don't think you would find it in a big box store.

Maybe when the plant is more mature, you'll get blooms that make it easier to identify.

Foliage quality on lavender HTs is often an issue. The rose in question has decent enough looking foliage to be Neptune. The form and colors are pretty good to point in that direction, too.

It is Neptune. I found another rose in my garden that blooms exactly the same way, and that one does have a tag saying Neptune.
This one would have come from a local nursery that carried all of the Star and Weeks' lines. Sadly, that nursery closed, but not before I bought at least one of everything she carried.
Palatine carried Poseidon, which I bought and planted next to to the tagless Neptune. It died, and i want another one, but I'm holding off on new roses until somebody finds a cure for Rose Rosette disease. Every week, I've had to remove another 3 roses.
The devil on my left shoulder is telling me to check to see what Palatine is offering this fall, to get my order ready, and the good girl on the other shoulder is saying, no, don't do it, you're just in for more heartbreak.
So who do i listen to?
Shrug!
Oh...by the way...that new lavender rose, ' Love Song', is blooming like crazy. Two thumbs up on it! Thumbs up i have two of them, and both are disease-free, and we have had rain at night for 17 days this month!

Cindi - I'm glad that you've gotten the rain! We haven't had any rain now in a week and the temps have been in the mid to upper 90s. Today it topped off at 96 but the "RealFeel" was 101. BLEH!!! My LoveSong hasn't bloomed since I put it in the ground, but that's to be expected for a new rose & me. Happens all the time. Always the 2nd year it starts to bloom & the 3rd is when it goes to town.
