So I blow it up and definitely this should be in the popular photo as well. So I'm pretty sure if we all give the photo a thumbs up We could make @Ursula's orchid Make it to the Popular photo. It would be cool to see her succulent and orchid on this weekend's newsletter!

I appreciate the enthusiasm and effort but our ugly weeds can't seem to stand up against page after page of irises, daylilies and other assorted boring images.
But I still vote for orchids time and time again.

I think it's worth a try if the photo gets 10+ there is a higher likelihood of having a beautiful orchid make it to the popular photo and the newsletter. Especially as lovely as all of your collections are.

I think there are a lot of orchid enthusiasts that just read and look at the thread and not commenting. I call them our "silent members", but they are the ones who are the most likely to hit the on the photos they like.

You betcha! Imagine a sweet top note of Lily of the Valley with Citrus notes. I just went upstairs to get a good sniff in the dark, it happily had inherited the scent.

Usually these Den flowers are the purest of pure white, but you just never know with orchids do you? These are blushing slightly pink in the throats on the mature flowers this time around.

New spike opening on my perennially blooming Den. Hilo Sparkle 'Exotic Orchids' and as before they're all getting nicely lined up with their antelope horns up. . . . Except, of course for the one guy that has to be completely upside-down, lower middle of pic. Sheesh.

Yes lots of s make it to popular then newsletter. And orchid blooms need to be well appreciated to make it to the newsletter!

Had I known that this was going to be so popular of an image, I would have moved my air-fryer from the background!

Maybe that's what gave the photo some charm
