Hi MayBrain, Welcome!

I had to do a bit of research because I wasn't familiar with the names Marrow and Courgette. I found that they are common names for different varieties of Squashes and Gourds (Curcubita pepo.)

Here are some of our database listings for "Marrow's":
Summer Squash (Cucurbita pepo 'Vegetable Marrow')
Winter Squash (Cucurbita maxima 'Boston Marrow')
Squash (Cucurbita pepo 'Lebanese White Bush Marrow')
Summer Squash (Cucurbita pepo 'Green Bush Vegetable Marrow')

Here are our database listings for different varieties of "Courgette's": https://garden.org/plants/sear...

I had to look up what both are as we don't use these names in the U.S. Shrug!
From this site:

"A marrow is a cucurbit, which means it's from the same family as the melon, cucumber, squash and courgette. The marrow is actually a courgette that has been left on the plant to grow a little longer; likewise, if you pick a marrow when small, it's classed as a courgette."

I have heard the term cougrette most often used in reference to zucchini. They're skinny and green - like a cucumber - green-striped, or yellow. They grow on a large plant with wide star-shaped leaves on long stems that grow in a clump. The fruit grows upward on short stems close to the central trunk. It's best eaten at 7-9" long, slim and strongly colored. https://www.thespruce.com/zucc...
The vegetable marrow is white or very pale green with faint mottling; it's longer, heavier and bulkier than a zucchini, more elliptical. It also grows on a big bushy plant, with large star-shaped leaves, that grow in a clump, but may also sent out longer shoots, with fewer fruit spread out more. They're best eaten at 10-12" and creamy white.

They're closely related and in the New World are often counted as the same kind of squash. In Europe, they're quite distinct and cooked differently.
