Thanks Bob. Cinta, my Midnight Rose has done well in full sun (raised bed) although the pink splotches aren't as prominent as on the MR Select pics folks have posted.
I am really starting to like this plant. It does not show clear in the pics but it has a pastel color of pink. Some have a faded red pink but this has a more pink cast that stands out as a real pink.

Very disappointed in Solar Eclipse and Georgia Peach really declined as well.
Plum Pudding and Tiramisu are doing better in the same bed in mostly shade.
Both Solar Eclipse and Georgia Peach need some sun , They are both full sun part shade plants. I am not sure that is a Georgia Peach , I see no veining in the leaves.

Okay I stopped in the nursery that had Midnight Rose for 6.00 and since you and Bob are in my zone I am giving it another try.
I will put it in the sun garden. I have other Hercs in there and they are doing good. It is a good size gallon pot that will at least give it a better chance of survival.
Carolyn, are you trying to confuse me? It is working. Now I do not know where I should plant this thing. Maybe I should go back and buy another one and put one in my hosta garden and one in my sun garden.
No, I am not trying to confuse at all. My apologies - It just sounded like there were problems before with MR and I have had no problems with mine.
Funny thing, there seem to be some that do well for some of us and not so well for others. Put it where you were originally going to plant it. MR should do well for you.
Carolyn I was kidding. I know you were trying to help. When you posted shade and I noticed you are PA too I chuckled. These plants are going to drive me crazy. If they had not gone down in price I would not buy another one of them.
I depend more on foliage in my gardens than flowers and I thought these were going to be a good perennial alternative. They are turning out to be a big expensive experiment and I do not like the costly experiment. My budget is 10.00 a year for annuals. My money goes to building a garden.
So please do not think I really thought you were trying to confuse me. It is this darn plant that I like so much that is confusing me.
