Love the tree and the combination.. Ever since seeing the Jewel series, I have been looking for it locally, but now I think I'll get a cooperi and make a combo.

I love the contrast of this sedum with Delosperma cooperi.

What a stunning combo...thanks for posting your pix. Just when I thought I was done purchasing plants for this season because of course I have already exceeded my budget for 2013, I want to go plant shopping again.

Thanks! I know the feeling, Susan. I thought I was finished too and then I saw a white Delosperma and had to have it yesterday. LOL.

One bad thing about SRG is that they do not hold plants for orders. They go out by shipping , so whose ever order ships first gets the plants no matter when you ordered them. So take your delivery as soon as you can. I had them send my order 2 weeks sooner then I did last year to avoid that from happening.

That's awful. Don't forget to check Lowes locally. They have them in gallon pots here. They have the orange and yellow together in pots and it looks great.

That is good to know. I ended up cancelling an order last year because I wanted to wait for it to be in stock.Glad I didn't wait . Now I understand.

Thanks Bob, I will remember that. I could have taken these plants in March. I have never seen these at our Lowes but I pop in and out of there so, will keep looking.

Here is an article for those who want to grow these in northern zones. They are testing various Delosperma for winter hardiness.

It turns out that Fire Spinner is the one that overwintered.

Ruby is also starting to flower.

Now that the hot weather has started I hope the rest start producing.

That's great Bob! 'Fire Spinner' blooms better in cooler zones. It grows like a weed here but doesn't bloom as much as the others.
