Today is Plant Power Day and I thought I would celebrate by posting some of my best growers:

My best growers are:



Nouveau Riche blooms early and for a long time. It is a very vigorous grower!



Belle Fille deserved its Wister Medal. It performs very well in the garden.



Beauty Becomes Her is another deserving Wister Medal winner. It grows like a beast. I have to divide it every two years.



Luxuriant's pod parent was Beauty Becomes Her. It is a strong grower, too. It crowds the irises planted next to it.

Alot of the dwarf iris seem pretty tough. Of the tall iris, probably Rosalie Figge is my toughest---and reblooms in fall.
