Plasko, I love this picture of the painted succulents. Very "cool". I am assuming they are live succulents, not plastic. Now, how does one go about painting a succulent? Is it food coloring? Does the painting harm them in any way?

I took this photo in a store selling the live plants. They were all sitting together on a shelf.
I can only assume it is non-toxic. But the gold and silver paint definitely do not look like food coloring. They are very shiny.
OK...just Googled it, and there are several YouTube videos on this. They all seem to use acrylic paints. So that would be my suggestion. Shrug!

O.K. thanks. I thought these plants were in your personal collection. I couldn't tell that the plants were gold and glittery in the pic just thought some were beige color. I am definitely going to look up the you tube videos.

I saw a lot of these bunched together at my Home Depot a few weeks ago, they're all bunched together when you just walk in the outermost doors. I of course stopped to look and try to figure out how in the world they get the coloring through the plants, if injected, watering with food coloring or however they do it.

They probably don't live long though. The paint blocks all the light from the leaves. Like putting them in a closet.
