I took this photo in a store selling the live plants. They were all sitting together on a shelf.
I can only assume it is non-toxic. But the gold and silver paint definitely do not look like food coloring. They are very shiny.
OK...just Googled it, and there are several YouTube videos on this. They all seem to use acrylic paints. So that would be my suggestion.
