We watched "Nope" last night...I should have said nope to it. IMHO it was really bad, made no sense, and parts of the movie never even fit with it...just bad... acting, directing, and storyline.

Did not watch the Ball Drop on TV for the New Year. Woke back up at 1 AM. Then the power went out for about an hour. Don't know why as no wind or much rain. But back on quickly.

I was happily watching Season 3 of Jack Ryan. I never did understand watching the ball drop on New Year's and still don't do it. It did sound like a war zone outside though.

We watched some old VCR's until just past 11, then decided it was late enough to toast Melbourne, Tokyo, Jakarta, Leningrad, Paris, Dublin and Halifax, then we went to bed.
Tonight, we watched Gandhi again, both reels (I love Ben Kingsley!) after a long hiatus. Still exhausting.
After the OG goes to bed, I'll need a cooking show to relax.

Been wanting to watch the series "Marco Polo" on Netflix ....

Had heard this was good - but slept through the first 4 episodes of season 1 of 2 .... the next night, tried to re-watch those "missed" 4 episodes ...only to catch fragments in-between another nap .... think i dreamed about China

Will try again .... maybe catch a nap *before* restarting Season 1 .....

at this rate, should finish the series around July ......

Watched on new series on ABC this evening, Will Trent, based on a series of Atlanta set novels by Karin Slaughter. Enjoyed the acting and actors, the sets and local, also appreciated that the crime was not solved in the usual 1 hour format, hope that continues.

We watch a series on Netflix called 1899...so odd and hard to follow. It had potential but was to difficult to follow.

I have recorded the premiere of Will Trent because it sounded interesting. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it and will try and watch it sometime today. We are catching up on some cooking shows, the Great British Bake-off latest season from last year and an older cooking competition show on Hulu with Mary Berry as a judge. Britains Best Home Cook. It's not just baking and we really like her.. Onboth shows the hosts ( not the judges but the ones introducing things) try to be funny or likeable but we both find them really annoying, especially on the baking show.
