I'm sorry that I'm so clueless (or brain dead) that I missed your health problems, Elsa... D'Oh! I was too focused on your dog's loss, I guess. I also hope that you are doing better, health-wise.

LICHEN looks interesting, if it's that good of a rebloomer.

(Now if only we could get some TBs that would perform like that!)

Hmm, that's odd... the database has LICHEN as a TB, but also listed at 29". What's the height cutoff for the different classes of irises?

Thank you Derylin, Daphne and Marilyn. Marilyn, Thank you so much for catching that Lichen is a TB. It grows like an IB for me (height-wise), but I have had it a long time so I should have remembered it is classified as a TB. I will go back and edit my post to correct that.

TB One Bad Hombre: Pretty Cheerful guy and heavy bloomer. But my favorite attribute of this Iris is that gray rim. It is such a true color of gray.

TB Plot Line: The first year I had this, the wind knocked off it's bloom stock, and then it just didn't do anything for several years. I redid the garden last year and this year it just went nuts. Not only did it bloom and bloom but the blooms continued to all remain healthy. I just fell in love with it.

TB Precious Thing: This is such a bloom machine. It starts early for the TB's and just blooms and blooms. And the blooms really do look precious...precious and cute.

Such lovely photos, Elsa, and such a lovely variety of colors in the irises! Lovey dubby

But is 'Real Zeal Deal' *really" about 40 ft? Whistling That'd sure be something...

40 feet would be one heck of a record breaking iris there. Would need to be in a 2nd story of a building to see it well. Rolling on the floor laughing

SDB Sea Dart - This is one of Kent's. This is the 2nd year it has bloomed and is a good grower. The shade of green on parts of this Iris are very good though this particular photo doesn't have much green. Really love this little guy.

Kent's SDB Seedling 19-D-03R This is another good grower and close enough to green to make me happy. I wonder if he has introduced this yet?

Here is another of my Sky and Sun X Butterfly Affair seedlings. This also was a 1st year bloom. I love the light blue coloring as well as the green on the shoulders. I am hoping this is a good grower cause this is something I would like to introduce if it is.

And this is one of my St Petersburg X (Sky and Sun X Butterfly Affair) seedlings. I know I don't label them right. I will have to go back over what you all told me last year about how to label them and keep it on my computer somewhere but hopefully you can get an idea of it's lineage. This was another 1st year bloom. Now on this one, I can't say there is anything super special about it but I just loved it. I loved the lines on it and thought it was pretty so it gets to stay another year and I will see how it grows/blooms.

Here comes a bee pod seedling. This is Telltale Fingerprints X Unk. It's really funny because color wise it does not look anything like Telltale Fingerprints. but it does have the substance and Telltale Fingerprints has great substance. I do like this one. It can stay another year to see what may be. Also, I do have to say it's interesting because I have tried to cross Telltale Fingerprints multiple times to no avail, but the bee's accomplished what I did not. In addition, this bee pod put out a huge amount of seedlings

I'm not fond of the overall color, but what is interesting about this seedling is how the beard color echoes on the tip of the falls.

I like this one, too. Nice light blue and looks like a bit of a broken color. Gentle ruffling. How tall did it get? TB height? Do you recall when it bloomed (early, mid, late)?

Hi Laurie: Thanks for the comments on the seedlings. I really do like to get others perspectives. I had never really looked at the beard color on the one seedling and how it is played out on the falls, so thank you for the observation. And the light blue seedling was probably about 34". But in most gardens, it would probably be taller. It is definitely a Tall Bearded.

Hi Barbara: Thank you so much. My health problems are still up in the air. But I will know more in early January I believe. I really appreciate the prayers and I would appreciate any more anyone wants to send my way, until I find out one way or the other what is going on.

TB Kerfuffle - Every year I see this(top one) when it is unfurling and tell myself, that's a dull one but then when it opens, I just fall in love with the shade of pink. In fact I am kinda obsessed with it. I also love the bright orange lilac tipped beards. They just blend so well with this pink shade. I am not sure how you describe the color except that is a different pink than any I have seen.
