Hey I think we might have the biggest Stag Horn Fern. It is 42" W X 48" Thick X 42" H.

After the rain we got last night, It's got to weigh at least that. Our house was built in 1957. We have lived here for 20 yrs. It has always been Huge!

That's a very nice Common Staghorn Fern (Platycerium bifurcatum) They do get quite large over time! We have a couple of large Staghorns but they aren't looking so great after our 2 cold snaps last month when temp's dropped into the 30's but I'm sure they will recuperate in the coming months.

~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!

I would certainly think that they will fully recover. I'm in Vero Beach, just 30 min. south of you, and I've seen no damage to speak of. I've got several varieties of staghorns. Unfortunately, since we'll soon be moving to a tiny piece of property, these stags won't be able to come with me.
