It is for my sister, Lee Anne. For one thing, she is the only one working right now and is trying to support us all on her wages. These are her deceased daughter's children and their babies that were living with my sister until the state stepped in in January (loonnnnngggg stories, mainly her house is in bad shape). They were all going to be moving here, anyway, and, once her matters are settled, she'll get on over here, too. It makes her feel infinitely relieved that the kids are here and safe, which is important to me. But, mostly, it is because, when we were both in our 20s, she was divorced with two toddlers and living in a 30-foot Airstream with very, very little money. To my everlasting shame, I could have helped her and didn't. The reasons don't make any difference, but after I grew up a little and understood what I had done, I swore it would never, ever happen again. So, I keep her peace of mind in *my* mind and it is mostly easy to keep it up. Venting on the blog helps a LOT, too.
