From Feb 2021:
Just finishing stitching this one up, a quick and easy finish, should be done with it today. I was inspired by a quilt I spotted on Pinterest. I already had most of the exact same prints as it's from a favorite designer Kaffe Fasset.
I also started cutting out my next one, I joined in a sew-along on Instagram for a pattern I have been eyeballing called Campfire Glow. Over 600 sewers signed up! I don't normally commit to a sew-along but the pattern designer had lined up some great sponsors with weekly prizes for the 6 week time frame that I couldn't resist. I will most likely get it done much sooner than 6 weeks but post my required photos along the way to qualify for the weekly drawings. (Week 1: fabric selection, week 2: cutting fabric, week 3: make A blocks, week 4: make B blocks, week 5 make stars, week 6: assemble quilt)
I decided on a scrappy version (of course!) using a collection of batiks, I'm using the limey gold ginkgo leaf one as the stars. Who knows, it may be a hot mess but it will have a bohemian vibe and be so different from everyone else, I know it will be fun!
Oh and here is Kasey posing by my last finish
