Thanks everyone. I like to take different shots to show different perspectives of the bloom. I try to take six plus of each one. Every so often, I get a real winner of a picture. I much prefer the straight on shot of the iris or slightly above. I take the side view because alot of folks prefer that view, but I don't like that one much.
Arlyn-Not a clue about your iris. I think my brain has got a short circut when it comes to the irises lately. Case in point. I took pictures yesterday of "Be Original". It was tagged in the garden as "Raven's Quote", which it obviously is not. But when I saw it (Be Original) it did not immediately jump at me as to the name. I had to look it up in my database and come up with a name. Once I did, I had to go back to last years pictures to verify it was indeed "Be Original". Really???? Recognition should have been instantanously achieved. Growing old is a bi**h!!!!!
