ANSWERED (THANK YOU) Hi- I tried to add a "category" to my personal plant database. It created the category, but I don't see where this shows up? What is the point? How is this used? Thanks for your help.

Hi & welcome! Now that you have a category, you can add plants to it. Looking at your list, click the little pencil for each plant you want to add. Click the box for the category and then click to save it.

I do that too, except I mostly use my excel spreadsheet. I need to utilize the list options here more. I have a 2022 map of my daylilies and just created a 2023 map with changes, but if I find an errant fan coming up where I don't think it should be, I can refer to maps of earlier years to see if it can be identified.
