Glad you liked it! I sure was surprised to see it. Odds and Ends is always perfect 3x3, guess it just wanted to make sure I was awake. The poor dl's must get tired of me stumbling around at 5:30am begging them to hurry and open Whistling

Char, I know what you mean. I sometimes have to wait until I get home to see a few fully open. Namely Forestlake Raggamuffin and Jolly White Giant.

Odds and Ends is so pretty. I like the bitone look, but have a question about it. The AHS database lists Odds and Ends as "lavender violet blend above chartreuse throat". Am I mistaken in thinking that it looks more like a bitone than a blend? This kind of confuses me when I see descriptions.

Thanks.

I agree Odds and Ends certainly looks bitone in the garden, I'm not sure why Curt didn't register it as such. The lavender-violet blend refers to the base color of the petals...perhaps back in 1997 we weren't as aware of recording some of the finer information, such as bitone, for the registration record. Shrug! The ability to record the finer details - Kevin is wonderful to work with on registrations - is important for identification as the number of registered cv's increases.

Thanks, Char for the explanation. I thought I just didn't understand the difference.

Bonanza and Rock Solid are very pretty. I love the way the midribs give them that starry look.
