Wonder if these are gladiolus? The stems look about right and the fact they aren't blooming yet makes me wonder as well. Post a picture when/if they bud and bloom.

Look more like Crocosmia to me, I've never had glads that clump like that.

I'm in a facebook GA gardening group and this one lady has a picture with glads in a clump like this. But... are they cold hardy enough to live in Indiana?

If in a warm enough spot they will come back and thrive.

That's one tightly packed bunch, beautiful too! You should probably divide them this year, spread them around.
