Sorry, where is this number or icon?

I went to the Welcome and Help Center forum to see if I could find it, but the closest I saw was "New ATP Member" under a name in a post, where we might have seen "Moderator".

Side question - in "Your Posts", under "Viewing posts by [/i]MemberName[/i]", does that list every single post we make, or only list one post per thread? I scanned by eye for duplicate titles, then exported on page and sorted on that column. Based on that quicky search, I didn't find two rows with the same thread title and same forum.

It did excite a kind of morbid curiosity about just HOW verbose I've been!

That report is showing the threads in which you have participated. If you post multiple times to the same thread, that thread is still only listed once.

If it is a number that people want to see maybe in the profile under view posts made by ....
I often go to see if someone is new by the date they joined.

Yes, that's what I do to; I click on their moniker and there is opportunity to look at whatever info they provided including date they joined. So I kinda feel that the number count is redundant and sort of mis-leading...sorry.

I hear you Rick and Sharon even though what you say is not what you feel. That's known as diplomacy. A very fine line between hypocrisy and diplomacy. A ridiculous idea if you vector in empty headed chatter and worthwhile content. Why do you want to highlight some members????????? Lynn

It might be kind of fun to have the number of posts we've made show up on our Profile page, tho. So people like Rick and me can compare. No contest, Rick. I have no doubt whatsoever that you'd beat me on word count!

I am with you, Cheryl, I have been looking for it and I thought the number in ( ) was what they were talking about then after all that looking, they said Dave Disabled it. Golly Gee, I am too old for this fast moving stuff.

The Tree Icon is for Charter Members of ATP, and now we are talking about having seeds grow as our membership grows, is that correct? In addition to the tree we already have? Oh well, I will just wait and see what pops up next since I am really confused now.

Ok. For all of those who missed it for the few hours it was in effect, Dave had added a feature that showed the number of posts a member had made. It was in italics, just under the Member name and the date and time. But it was removed very quickly. If I understand correctly, the plan is to replace that with a little icon that shows how active a member has been, by using a little seed or seedling and having it grow as the member participates more. I think.

Hi Hetly, I got that part, it was were it was located that threw me off. The more I kept looking the more confused I got. At my age it does not take much to confuse me.

Woofie, I was looking for it everywhere but there. I thought is was on the line with the Quote.......so funny. I love it here....never a dull moment.
