In Utah, I almost never had a bloom before the 4th of July, so it was always a long wait. Last year, a couple bloomed just before that, but we all know that last year was weird! Having moved all of these plants from Utah to Idaho just a month ago, I wasn't expecting any blooms this year. So, I'm thrilled to get a bloom, and it's even earlier than normal!

Thanks Debra! It actually looks much better than it ever did in Utah! I've only had it a couple of years at the most, and it's always done well, but seems to be extra good this year! I wish all the gold dust would show up in the pictures!

Thanks everyone for your kind remarks. My 1st bloom, other than some newbies that I posted last night, will happen tomorrow with 'Happy Returns'. All 3 plants are popping with buds. And so it begins.....
