So glad she could change it. ... Now I can concentrate on other things, like planting
the box full of semps she sent to me. She is so kind. Group hug

I am so excited to see them. Am waiting to see them until tomorrow morning. Time ran out on me today.

Here is my new list from the Smith Oregon Conservation Gardens :-)
S. Dallas
S. Pittoni
S. Ysolde’
S. Calcacera ‘greenlii’
S. Lemon Babies
S. Witcherii
S. Raspberry Ice
S. Michael’s Golden
Orostachys lwarenge

Hope your Raspberry Ice does better for you than it does for me.
I think I will try moving it a different bed and see if that will work.

I have so many chicks on so many plants! They're still very small, but I can see if they keep on, how quickly one needs to find places to give them away!! (this isn't going to be a problem, so far, any of my friends that I've asked are so excited about the possibility!) Hurray! Rolling on the floor laughing I always tell them, "Now don't expect them to look this good" Blinking (totally kidding!) Shrug! Angel

Tabby, I hope you are right, however I think your soil is probably more natural (keyword for horse manure) than is mine.

I have tried changing and adding a bit more sandy type mix into my MG Orchid Mix so am hoping for better results. It is really fast draining so I am going to have to watch it more closely for water needs.

Also Tabby gets quite a bit more sun than I have in my location.
I keep experimenting and will keep you all posted.

I am trying to keep the long view, instead of expecting instant results. (sigh.. it is so hard.. I want chicks and colonies NOW)

Marylin, Be careful what you wish for! Are you familiar with the term "exponential growth". If today I have 1 semp that produces 20 offsets and next year those 20 each produce 20 offsets, then you will have 400 plants next year, followed by 8000 in year 3 and 160,000 in year 4. While 20 is a bit high for some of them, there are other varieties that produce many more than that. Crying You will have what you wish sooner than you think. (Ask Lynn, I think she is experience some of those numbers...) Can you handle 100k+ plants in a few years???

Remember the Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles"? nodding
