Celastrus scandens, commonly: American bittersweet.
It's been blooming/fruiting for the last 2 years, but I remove the blooms to increase the rate of development, which slows appreciably once it's lifted from the ground and potted.

I started about 20 cuttings and am depending on the process of inosculation to eventually fuse the cuttings into a solid trunk. The image is 1 or 2 years old, so the composition has progressed quite a bit since that image was taken. Thanks for your interest.
