Today was my Monday, way too busy, but hopefully this weekend.

Buying the phone was a two store and three hour nightmare, lost all my contacts.

New phone was expensive but SO much faster and hopefully a complete camera upgrade.

I'll see if I have time to start with my 2 Exotica and 2 Silvery Ann.

And my 2 Brasil.

All are mother/cutting plants.

Well, not today...

New employee is making multiple register errors, took over an hour to figure out.

Between that frazzling me, bookkeeping and ordering, plus the damn loss prevention video surveillance, I got 3 maranta cuttings potted up and call it a win.

Hopefully new camera pictures tomorrow...the vivariums my employees do look amazing.

That's dedication, moving plants to water! Soon I will have around 150 pots in the house. Only a few of the hanging ones will get that special treatment. Sometimes I just water with a bunch of squirts from a spray bottle, which adds water slowly enough so there is no dripping. And for some, I just put a drip tray on the floor underneath.

Yes , it's a lot of "work" , but I like to do it .
That would certainly look different if I also had to take care of a garden !
But that's how I find it to be a relaxing, meditative activity while listening to music (https://radioparadise.com/home) .
My radius of action is manageable and can be adapted to my possibilities at any time

I haven't tried this type yet . How do you water it ? Does water drip out ?

Now I've made it despite acute lumbago ! Not so easy when you have to stand on the bed to do it ...
Now I wish for strong growth, so that at some point I can attach the shoots under the ceiling and look into the green when we wake up .
So I give it an extra portion of grow light.

Hoya blooms are so hard to photograph.

I think once I smelled the Hoya bloom before realizing it even HAD one.
My hoya got all weird and crusty, I gave it to daughter to see if she could save it, she's done very well with her plants. But nope.

Ugh, sorry! Crusty is so rarely desirable. Usually in the baked goods realm.

They are 2' long coconut lined planters.
Keeping them lite the soil has at least 50% perlite.

I installed hooks in the wall to easy take them down.



I water them every other week by taking them off the wall to water them.

I also wondered if the soil in planter keeping moisture would be good next to the wall. I cut corrugated plastic sheets to cover the back of the planter to form a vapor barrier to the wall. The planters have been there for 4 years now without showing any problems of moisture.
