Really like the "barn one"

Greg, the old building is actually an old log house. It was built around 1928. In 1940, a larger log house was built nearby to accommodate a large family. My dad had 13 siblings. I also grew up on this farm and enjoyed all the treasures that we would find in all the old buildings
The farm is located about 300 km NE of Edmonton Alberta in the MD of Bonnyville. The longest day is over 17 hours of daylight.

Joanne that is so cool that you lived where your father grew up! And that you have photos! What a family treasure! Thanks for sharing them!

Actually, the Great Grandparents homesteaded the property in 1910 and it has been in the family since. Grandmother bought it, Uncle's bought it, my Father bought it and then I bought it. I told the kid, the property has never been "given" to anyone, so she may need to prepare . We have 460 acres and rent most of it to a fellow to pasture his cows.
