I do understand, but I for one am glad the cat badge is a black cat. Not only do I have three black kitties (one all black), but black cats are the last ones adopted. I'm pleased about the black cat badge, and Pippa is glad, too.

Aww, Pippa! I had a black cat, that adopted us ( she was found in the stairwell as a kitten) named Samantha. A total sweetie. Her loud purr survived her death. For months after, I would walk into rooms and hear her loud disembodied purr. It was quite comforting, actually…

Emma, I've got the tree surrounded with something called scat mats. It's as uncomfortable to walk on as Legos and it prevents Albus from playing with the toys. He's the one, the other two don't give two hoots about the tree…

Even as I'm writing this, here's Albus constantly looking for weak spots in the defenses.

Well as predicted it was warmer today, high 48. Sweet sunshine and blue sky, the sun even felt warm. Not a typical December day but it was so nice to be outside enjoying it. Low this morning was 17. On the other hand the coming storm is not looking good. Looks like the whole east coast is going to get soaked!

Holly crossed over the rainbow bridge tonight while we were loving her and petting her. God took a hard decision out of our hands and she went peacefully. We love you so much and will miss you tremendously. Best dog ever❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sunny, 50/36. Clouds moving in tomorrow and rain by tomorrow night. I have a roof guy coming tomorrow morning to look at it and give me a quote. I hope he can suggest something to prevent more damage ahead of this next storm!

Our low yesterday morning was 35. We did reach 74 under the nice sun by the end of the day. Today we have that milky white sky .

It's raining. No surprise--we're supposed to have rain over the next few days, like the rest of the East Coast.

Sunny today surprise suprise and snow melting. Feels more like Spring.
