Thankful for my potted red currant bush. It has a lot of berries growing on it this year. Looking forward to when they're ready.

Thankful for a sweet lady neighbor giving us lots of bananas. I made 2 batches of banana cakes and a lot of chocolate covered frozen bananas.

Chocolate covered frozen bananas? Do you eat them as is?

I am thankful for a wonderful day today with my niece and sister.

It is easy to make :), you just peel the banana and dip in melted chocolate and freeze.

Or you peel and freeze the banana and dip in melted chocolate.

I like the "dark semi-sweet" Ghirardelli chocolate. Melt the chocolate with butter (every 15 seconds) until throughly melted.

Yummy 😋 healthier than Klondike, or Chocolate icecream bars that are family favorites.

I am thankful for illuminated plants . After reading about this and waiting over 25 years finally scientists mixed a gene from a glowing mushroom with the common white petunia. 'Firefly' Petunia.
For more info ck out the firefly petunia online. Interesting.
Hope to see more plants mixed with this gene.

Thankful for the two random fireworks mum found in her coffee table. It's Victoria Day weekend (aka May twofour) here in Canada, so we're temporarily allowed to use them. So we fired them off. It gave us a much needed laugh.

More neighbors had fireworks than usual this time around. Wonder if people were rushing out to enjoy them given so many cities are pushing the Feds for a total fireworks ban. Too bad in my opinion... We're only allowed to fire them two times a year. Why not enjoy them for those days.

It was a beautiful day here too. (70°/50°), with a gentle breeze. It was just right for a day of weeding!
