I know what you mean Linda, the clouds make it feel colder. That's how been the past few days with the colder temps. All the other cloudy days just make it feel like you live in a cave, dark and grey every day. Today was around an 80 - 20 day, 80% clouds with 1 1/2 hours of sun late this afternoon before it clouded back up. There's 4 stars overhead now so must be a hole in the clouds. Temps were 22 & 28 with a breeze out of the north.

For us too. Mom still loves the Rose parade - still likes the floats and I still like the horses. Have to say the Alabama/Michigan game had an exciting ending. Hubby is watching the Texas/Washington game; don't think I'm going to stay up until the end though I think it will also be a close game.

We finally saw the sun too!!! Pure sunshine all day. Took a while for it to warm up and melt the frost this morning, low 14. By noon it was in the upper 30's and ended with a high of 39 before the temp started dropping again. It's still clear and 23 now.
"they" are saying we could get some snow this weekend.

Got a walk in at the church. Seems they all walk and then have coffee time LOL

40/53F cloudy now, partly 🌞 later. Enough rain to dampen everything, no enough to measure.

Cloudy on and off today, 42/28. I finally took down Christmas inside and out. Sure looks empty in here!

Looks like a big snow storm is headed this way on Sunday, currently scheduled to snow for 23 hours. That will be the first significant storm we have had.

Zoia I think the possible snow we might get late Sunday will last for about 23 minutes..

A rescue tonight. My elderly neighbor we give eggs to called and said he had a chicken did I want it. Seems there had been a small flock running around his place off and on the past week or so and they had been disappearing one by one until this lonely white one was left (neighbors dog up the road killed 2...). He said this afternoon she was on the railing, hopped to a window box and started tapping on the window, he opened it and she came right inside! She's resting easy safe in the barn tonight. No idea who she belonged to, there's been no notices about missing chickens so I assume they were let go or dumped... it's the middle of the winter.... She's mine now.
