Looks like Tilly is ready for an exciting new year.
Mopps started his meds for Lyme's tonight , just hope they do not bother his stomach. That is the reason vet wanted to wait till after holidays to start them. He had no problem the last time his Lyme acted up , but that was before he was on so many other meds. The hope is that it will help with his back leg.

Debbie any word on Gata's blood work yet ? Hoping it went well.

It was a good thing Tilly was so cute as a puppy because it made us forgive her destructive powers. She had dreams of being a decorator when she was growing up. Among many other creative acts of demolition, she made us get a new floor by tearing up the old one. Here, she was only getting started:



These days, she's older and wiser, but now and then, she still gets up to no good. Like a few weeks ago, when we came home to find the kitchen floor covered in recycling. She cleaned it up, though. Apparently, we invented the most fun game ever: Paper or Plastic.

Lol, Ylis...my Bailey fancies herself a decorator as well. But she doesn't destroy inside stuff...oh no...she brings dead leaves, sticks and magnolia seed pods inside. After chewing them to look just right she scatters them around as accent pieces.

Well, you know what they say ~ a dog is man's best friend. They just want to be helpful.

Tilly's floor work is too funny.

Lily has been enjoying her morning meals. For the past 4 days (including this morning) meal has been the new for us Viva Raw. 4 times rabbitt. I cut each one pound of Viva into 4 squares and Lily gets one each morning.

So now she has finished that 1st pound of rabbitt I have taken out Elk for next. I leave the frozen on the counter for 2 hours or so and it gets soft enough to cut up into pieces. Then put one in the fridge to thaw overnight and the others back in the freezer.

She loves the rabbitt. I bet she will love the elk too.

Ginger those dead leaves in the dark can look like dead bugs. LOL

Tilly looks like Buffy's friend, Waffles, we dog sit him often. He's a real pistol, holds his own to wild and crazy Buffy.

Is Waffles a Pembroke? Sweden is supposedly the only country in the world where Cardigan Welsh Corgis (like Tilly) are more common than Pembrokes.

Bob, thank you for asking. I've been meaning to get on here and give an update...

So, her other blood test was good, except her lymphocyte count. Throughout her FIP treatment, it kept going up & down. So, the vet had a theory why it was so high- possibly it was getting shoved in her cage & getting shots for 3 months (stress) She wanted to retest her blood (last week), but I had to administer the Gabapentin beforehand, to relax Gata. It worked like a charm! Her lymphocytes were at a normal level! So, her next bloodwork & exam is in 3 months. The chance of her relapsing is extremely, extremely low.

@Ylis I don't know a thing about the Corgi breed, he is my son's best friend's dog, he's about 2 1/2 years old. He's so photogenic.

And you can't beat his name. If I ever have another dog (unlikely) I would call it Waffles no matter the gender.

I think I have mentioned that Mopps best buddy he walks with every night is a Labradoodle named Waffles , an other older guy at over 14 years old.

I hate this chair...always have. It's 24 years old now...the blanket is held on with tape to cover all the holes in the seat with stuffing coming out. Would love to get rid of it but how can I...it's a favorite perch of Bailey's. Goofy dog...it's a good thing I love HER otherwise it WOULD be history!!
