Ah, so far our indoor cats always have easy access to their food downstairs..they wait patiently for me to wake up 🥰 and if hubby wakes up earlier than me, with weather permitting, he opens up the windows so the furry babies can wait by the window ledge, savor the fresh air quietly as well till Mommy butler comes around for their new batch of food.
So I have had Shadow the outdoor cat here for many years. A smallish solid grey cat. But many weeks ago another cat showed up. A solid black one. Seems he s a full time resident now.
This morning as usual I put out the food for Shadow and Shadow eats. Black cat sits by. As soon as Shadow finishes black cat goes and eats. So I now feed two cats.
Black one is friendly to Shadow, He follows Shadow around the yard. And sleeps and hangs out in my back yard.
Meantime there is another solid black cat looks the same but this one limps some. Not friendly to the two resident cats here. I know when that one is here as there is usually a cat yowling and spitting contest. Fortunatly that one is not here all the time.
He is noisey. Goes around making yowling noises. Other cats are quiet.
Happy Mother's Day.
Thought I would give a little update on Mopps. Still very picky about what he will eat that day , but is back to having enough food. The leg will never get better but he is walking around more and less sleeping so I would think it is less painful.
Well he made me pay a price for saying he was being better. Started barking around midnight and kept it going till almost 3am. Any time I turned the light off or he could not see me bark bark bark and boy can this little guy hurt your ears. So could really use some sleep tonight.
Recovery is going OK I guess. The groin incisions aren't healing as quickly as the surgeon would like so he's sending me to a wound care doctor...see both tomorrow so will know more after. Thanks for asking. I am so ready to be totally back to normal whatever that is lol
Each cloud has a silver lineing if only you look for it.
Let the healing take whatever time it takes to be fully recovered. No overdoing!! (Often my downfall once I'm a lilttle bit better.) Lots of cuddles with Baily. Hugs, katie
