Rowyts, If you've uploaded a photo to an incorrect database entry you can propose to move it to the correct entry as follows:

Find your picture in the database and scroll to the very bottom of that page
Select: Move this image to another plant
You will receive a prompt asking "Which plant does this image belong to?"
Type in the correct plant name and select the the plant that you want your imaged moved to
Scroll down and select: Submit the proposal.

Thank you, but what if it's someone else's picture? I created a new plant profile and wanted to move the flowers from the generic page to the specific one. Also, you wouldn't happen yo know how to add a bio/about me to my profile, would you?

If you feel that someone else's database photo is incorrect, select the specific photo and scroll down to the bottom of the page to the box that says: Post a comment about this photo, type in your comment and select finished. The photo and your comment will then will show up in the Plant Photos Forum and the photo owner, as well as other members and database administrators can take a look and confer/discuss as to whether the photo should be moved.

You can access the Plant Photos Forum and see posts regarding possible incorrect database photos here: https://garden.org/forums/view...

There's nothing there about bio. Took this picture from mobile, but it doesn't show up on desktop either.

Do you mean that you want to move another members photos from the species entry Common Morning Glory (Ipomoea purpurea) to the database entry that you created for the cultivar Morning Glory (Ipomoea purpurea 'Milky Galaxy')

I think the database entry for Ipomoea purpurea is for all photos of that species. Many times plants are purchased without a label or name attached and it may be impossible to know an exact cultivar name, which may be the reason the photos were uploaded to the database entry for Ipomoea purpurea.

I did a google search but couldn't find any information about the cultivar 'Milky Galaxy' that you created a new database entry for so I hope you will be able to add data information to that entry. We do have a similar named entry for a cultivar Tall Morning Glory (Ipomoea purpurea 'Milky Way')

*Blush* Sorry but I can't help with directions regarding a phone. My instructions were using my laptop. I'm old and technically challenged when it comes to mobile phones and I rarely use my phone but I know that many members here do indeed use their mobile phones for everything so I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Yeah, milky galaxy is a variant of milky way, where each stripe is wider and fluffier looking. Since it's still so obscure, I wanted to suggest a different name for it, since it gets buried by milky way due to obscurity and similar names. The name was picked by the only seller I could find. I bought the seeds for it, so I'll definitely update the page as I go. I would attach the ebay link, but since I'm new I can't attack links, but it's sold by Jacksonville Morning Glory Vineyard on ebay.

The profile options on computer are the same as mobile, so I don't have access to it. I too assume it's because I'm a new user. When does the new user restriction expire anyway? It didn't let me post links because I'm a new user, but I don't have the tag next to my name anymore.
