Hello,
I have an Orchid 4 years now, and it was full of flowers the first 2 seasons, but now there is only one branch with flowers and the roots are overtaking the potted plant. Photos attached.
Does someone how I can take care of my orchird? I would like the full bloom to resume and need advice what's to be done with the overgrowing roots...

Thank you in advance!
Adele

You have a few options, sources of information. You could repost this to the orchid forums and ask the question there.
Or you can choose to go to the AOS website. American Orchid Society. There underneath the membership pull down you should see 'CULTURE SHEETS'. Those are printable pdf files that you can use. Those sheets provide hints on growing Phalaenopsis. That is the type of orchid you have.

But now, you will find different methods to grow these orchids. I have been growing orchids for a very long time!
I repot my Phalaenopsis every two years. I use fresh media each time. I select a pot that holds the roots nicely. DO NOT OVER POT!!
I use a mix that I mix myself. Fine bark + Medium bark, + medium charcoal+ perlite.
Within our Orchid Forum section, there is a post, a "sticky", about growing Supermarket Orchids. It is rather a lengthy read but lots of questions and dozens of helpful answers.
Water when dry
NO direct sunshine
Temperatures from 65-82 or so.
Fertilize once a month
North or East windowsills work great.
There is no better thrill then catching fish using flies that you tied!
