Quite some years back, I was lucky enough to go to his garden with a large group of daylily enthusiasts and acquired 5 seedlings. It would have been more, but he was so busy helping all the buyers that these was all I could get my grubby little hands on. I still have these four:
- a great plant, much admired here in a clump
Pat Cochenour was on that trip, where she must have gotten this one. She gave me a piece saying it would cross with dips or tets but I've never had much luck with it.
