My potato plants blew over last night. they are about 3 feet high. should I try to stand them back up or leave them be? I live in maine so I believe my growing season goes till september/october. they have started to bud already. Thanks.
Benjamin Franklin’s admonition made over 200 years ago when he said, “Security and freedom are not the same thing… in fact just the opposite. The more security you seek, the less freedom you have. The people with the most security are in jail. That’s why they call it maximum security.”

They'll be fine, Tom, just leaving them alone. You'll probably notice them sending up more new growth since they are blown over, and that's a good thing.

As for them "budding", no worries, potato plants will make potatoes whether they flower or not, so you'll be fine.

Wishing you a great harvest!
