Even though there are no flowers to see yet, our S, melissodora is coming along just fine--in fact, it is the best grower of the four that we planted in April.

The flowers of this one are VERY aromatic. I love to suggest to someone who has not experienced a grape smell in a flower to sniff. It makes everyone happy!

Marilyn, reading the article let me know that this one will probably be blooming in the fall, so I won't be expecting flowers for some time, but that's okay, I am really happy to have a fall blooming plant.

I've had a few flowers of melissodora, so far. One flower so far of the 'Royal'.

Our S. melissodora flowers some 9 months of the year, as do others in milder climes.
