Has anybody ever grown rapid blue campanula?

I'm in zone 6b, where summertime Temps reach 80-100+. I am looking for flowers or a floweringsplant that can take all day fun,heat/drought tolerant, and no shade. Has anybody ever grown hybrid birch campanula or rapid blue campanula/bellflowers? I would like to try one of those or any other suggestion, not crazy about Hardy geraniums like havana blues or perfect storm?

Any variety campanula are definitely not for "all day fun(sun),heat/drought tolerant, and no shade, 80-100 degrees".

Maybe salvias?
