In the spirit of Larry's original Clump shots thread from back in 2017, here is a description of what he was looking for:

"So I guess we need to come to a definition of what an actual clump shot is. To me it is a photo showing not only the blooms but the foliage as well all in the same photo.

"Getting a photo of the foliage is pretty easy and getting the blooms is a little harder, getting them both together to show how the plant actually looks overall so the scape height is discernible and detail in the bloom is maintained is what I consider to be a clump shot, compared to (this is my term ) a 'cluster shot'...showing a beautiful cluster of blooms."

I think I have posted several of what he is calling cluster shots of blooms rather than actual clump shots. I will include the foliage from now on!

That was so long ago I certainly would not expect people to go back and read my original post. I have probably posted some cluster shots in this thread also, but I do really enjoy seeing " clump shots", but for me they are the hardest shots to get right.

I agree on the clump shots being the hardest to get right, but I do think it really shows the true plant habit, which is what I like to see. But I am just as sure that I've posted cluster shots of some beautiful bouquets, too.
