No offense when I say I am not a thorny plant person but I love the intense but muted colors of your succulents collection. If clothing manufacturers could replicate those colors, an open closet door could make me swoon. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the photos... Kristi

Gorgeous succulents and cacti (I prefer the first type, not too many spikes for me, thank you).
Love those huge rossettes.
And the blooms.
THAT one you call red aloe could be Hesperaloe parviflora?
Probably, not... but here I am, coming from a totally different climate, trying to ID your plants Smiling

Calin ~ I believe you are correct. That looks like Hesperaloe parviflora to me also. I have two, one a purchased plant and one I started from seed. They are slow to bloom as the plant is just first delivering blooms after quite a few years. Kristi

Thanx everyone! I'v got some more plant goodies to share after the holidays.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/4497fc Gonna have at least 3 blooms tonight or tomorrow.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/24475e Some light deprived succulents and cacti.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/b1bcf8 euphorbia lactea crestea 'white ghost' on its own roots.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/4014a6 Another one getting ready.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/c0e65e Why I will never order from Cactus-Limon again. First time order I get 3 things and pay very well for them. In return I get this cactus that was infected with rot, and an echinocactus coahulia when I ordered an echinocactus rubispinus. Considering it cost over $20 for shipping an handling to send it LESS THAN HALF A STATE (San Diego to San Luis Obispo area), I figured they would be on the ball. O well. Lesson learned Sticking tongue out

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/ece529 This zebra was in wretched shape when I first got it from walmart. Its rebounded nicely.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/48ffb6 NOID sitting on its roots waiting for me to decide where to put it since some sempervivums evicted it from its normal pot.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/d33b14 New area i'm planning. still got some trunks i'v got to pull out though.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/2e56e5 My josua tree I planted from seed when I was like 9. This whole area use to be sunny before the pepper tree exploded, and was where my great grandma's awesome cactus succulent garden was.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/603763 Old growth yucca, agave, cacti and jade.

Thumb of 2013-07-05/MagerRooRHammer/b1ce45 Wish I could replant my josua tree on the back part of our property where my trailer is... but iv heard the root on these things can get very, very deep. I dont mind digging, but the chance of it being more than 10 feet deep is just too much.

The first photo looks like sentries that have flipped open their small unbrellas, just no rain... I'm amazed at the size of blooms.

A real deal "neon breaker" echeveria... I have seen a bunch labeled as NB, but they don't have the right look.

Echeveria 'Melanco'

I saw someone trying to sell this same size plant on ebay for $20 claiming it was very rare. Pretty silly considering my local Home Depot has had a gang load the past 3 weeks at about $2 a piece =).
