No offense when I say I am not a thorny plant person but I love the intense but muted colors of your succulents collection. If clothing manufacturers could replicate those colors, an open closet door could make me swoon. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the photos... Kristi

Calin ~ I believe you are correct. That looks like Hesperaloe parviflora to me also. I have two, one a purchased plant and one I started from seed. They are slow to bloom as the plant is just first delivering blooms after quite a few years. Kristi

@ Calin. Yep thats the proper latin name. Red/Humming bird yucca are the nicknames I'v seen it under.

Why I will never order from Cactus-Limon again. First time order I get 3 things and pay very well for them. In return I get this cactus that was infected with rot, and an echinocactus coahulia when I ordered an echinocactus rubispinus. Considering it cost over $20 for shipping an handling to send it LESS THAN HALF A STATE (San Diego to San Luis Obispo area), I figured they would be on the ball. O well. Lesson learned

This zebra was in wretched shape when I first got it from walmart. Its rebounded nicely.

NOID sitting on its roots waiting for me to decide where to put it since some sempervivums evicted it from its normal pot.

New area i'm planning. still got some trunks i'v got to pull out though.

My josua tree I planted from seed when I was like 9. This whole area use to be sunny before the pepper tree exploded, and was where my great grandma's awesome cactus succulent garden was.

Old growth yucca, agave, cacti and jade.

Wish I could replant my josua tree on the back part of our property where my trailer is... but iv heard the root on these things can get very, very deep. I dont mind digging, but the chance of it being more than 10 feet deep is just too much.

A real deal "neon breaker" echeveria... I have seen a bunch labeled as NB, but they don't have the right look.

I saw someone trying to sell this same size plant on ebay for $20 claiming it was very rare. Pretty silly considering my local Home Depot has had a gang load the past 3 weeks at about $2 a piece =).
