Ok, go ahead and try finding pictures of this hybrid on google. I sure could not find any!! I feel special that I get to share this new plant with people, it is by altman plants and is a mauna lua (spelling?) hybrid. It was in dire need of some brighter light, i'll take more pictures once i'v got it settled in.

Wow, I'm dizzy from all your collection pictures. Shouldn't have started at the beginning again, but needed to see what some looked like and what they look like now. Though there weren't any "update" pics, right?...some are new purchases like the last one with the unauthorized propagation prohibited warning... Blinking

Yes the neon breakers is new, but in an old area that i'v been tweaking slightly and after that is from a new area i'm blowing up with whatever cool succulents I find. The Gorgon I just got this morning... along with a baby false saguaro I figured no one really needs too see.

OOOooo what IS cool that I forgot to take pics of was the cactus seedling that are sprouting from all those 'cereus bloom/fruit i'v had going. It will be sweet if they turn out hybrids =)

Wow. All are great!
If you didn't have all those cool succulents, I'd ask "have you got any plants you can actually touch?"

Gorgon's Grotto update, now that it has been getting a few hours of direct sun each day it is turning the grey-purple that it is supposed to have.

Amazing show, how long have you been planting on your lot? Great stuff.

Back on the 29th, next to your "randomly planted pot" you posted some finger shaped cacti with yellow spines - I think it's Mammillaria elongata, one of my favorites. They clump up really nicely, attractive even when they aren't in bloom. I have a bunch of cuttings that I'm trying to get rooted before it cools down too much.... grrr!

Thanks for all the pics, though. I really love them.

Glad you liked Hetty and Bev. Thanks for the ID Sheryl! Been wondering what those guys were... Dunno about rooting them, usually if I break a piece I just lay it down under some of the other plants in half shade on the sand. I usually come back and see roots in a couple weeks if i remeber...

O and ya, thats not a frog thats 1 of the blue belly lizards that live in my garden poking his head out an old log. Its so warm here they are active most the winter.

Yeah, I know they *should* root easily- these are being a little stubborn.... maybe because it's kind of the end of the growing season? I also don't know how long they were out of the dirt - I got them at a Succulent Society meeting. Guess I'll just move them to a slightly sunny spot for the winter and see how they do.
