Jojoe, if you click on the Recommendations tab at the top of the page, you can see what everyone is saying about the sources.

I love Perennial Obsessions and SMG, North Hills, Mountaincrest and Youngs.

You really can't go wrong with any on this list, as it is the one compiled by Lynn,
here in the Succulent Nurseries thread:

The thread "Succulent Nurseries" in Sempervivum forum

Isn't it funny how you will count change just so you can get your semps. My hubby says he's never heard so many reasons why i need a plant when we are at Lowes. It's usually semps, sedum or some type of hoya for me.My favorite is "but dear if i don't buy these plants now i may not get another chance" & "i've been wanting this plant forever. Well, I've sold my plant business, so I can buy more plants with the proceeds - of course, I already have over 160 named varieties, and lots of seedlings that I grew from my own seeds, so maybe I already have enough Rolling my eyes. Not...

If you want to feel better about your obsession just listen to mine!

I have been breeding plants for 50 years and hope to get another 20 in before I have to turn in my tweezers. And of course I don't cross one thing I start with hellebores, then daffodils, pulmonaria, irises of all sorts, penstemon, hardy geraniums, daylilies, heleniums, sedums, achilleas, alliums, hosta, and dianthus. I belong to all the societies for these plants and have been an officer of many. I was a founding member of the Sempervivum Fancier's Association and the Species Iris Group of North America!

When I lived in MS I filled the first 80 x 180' space so I BOUGHT THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR to extend my garden. and of course I moved to Salem OR because this was an ideal place to grow the plants I breed. I have met many other addicts here. We don't go to meetings to stop this behavior we belong to groups to buy more!

You might think semp purchases are addicting but wait until you get your shoe box size $1K order of daffodils or daylilies. Then you really know the sickness is bad. I think i might need 40 steps...

Do you all feel better now???

Kevin

Somebody please notice the duplicate posts by Jungle Shadows about semp addiction. I've been trying to convince Dave that I have been seeing duplicate posts by Lynn, John, and now Keivin throughout this week.

Kevin, I'm so impressed. I dream of buying the house next door -- not only to extend my garden, but also to exterminate all of the horrible blackberries and ivy that keep creeping into my own garden from over there.
