Grrr Zuzu, I now how that feels, one neighbour seems to want to cultivate blackberries too, and my other neighbour seems to love dandelions. I can't win

Our house is the oldest in the neighborhood and I guess originally the house next door was where our house's food garden was. Man, would I love to have it back. I think the current owners might object, though

Am glad to know that I'm not the only one crazy enough to buy a house in order to extend the garden. The best part that the soil in that yard was like potting soil. When it was rototilled you could push the rototiller with your pinky.

Anyway, in terms of obsession you can all rest easy. You know someone crazier.

I don't know how I could do another obsession in plants. We almost bought one acre along the side and back of our property. We planned on just keeping it mowed and using it like a park, with pick nick tables under the trees.
Good thing we didn't do that, I can hardly keep up with this 1/2 acre now. But then just think of all the raised beds I could have built on that acre.
