Oh my, I wish my Larry's Obsession would bloom this year but doesn't appear that it will. Got it last spring in 2012 and thought being it made it through the winter that it would bloom.

Just got a tree-mail that pointed me in the direction of a likely ID for this...and I think they nailed it. This is 'Theresa Hall'. Seems rather appropriate that this is yet another 'oldie'. Thank you very much Kimbar.

A colorful bouquet, Keith. Well done!

Just a few more new blooms today. Waiting now for my dips plants to bloom, and all those follow-up blooms on the previous lilies I've shown.

VON TRAPP 'NOID' - Before I gotten truly bitten by the daylily bug, I visited our Von Trapp Nursury here in the Valley. Yes, it's the same family as the 'Sound of Music'.......'the hills are alive with the 'Sound of Music".....sorta thing. The Von Trapps have the most divine nursery located on a mountain ridge not far from my home. There annuals and perennials are the healthiest most beautiful plants imaginable. Anyway, I brought my first daylily there, and planted it in my front garden. This was after the chipmunks ate all my asiatic lily bulbs. In time I lost the name of this lily, but it's so colorful and bright, I thought I would include it here. If anyone of you forum scholars knows it's name, I sure would appreciate it's identification. Anyway, I call it, my 'Von Trapp Noid'.

Bloom season is over here except for Rice, Davisson and a few Hanson's. (and rust has reared it's ugly head a few wks ago.)

Blue Dolphin, Old Friends, Willow Dean Smith, Starring Attraction in the blazing sun at 10 am. The excitement of running out the door at 6:45 am to get photos has worn off. The color of Starring Attraction changes to a raspberry color in the afternoon, which I love.

This is another photo of Belightful on a 6" scape. When it gets established, I think I'll really like this. So far there have been 10 scapes on 3 fans and blooms sometimes have a muted grayish lavender eye.
