DOYLE PIERCE - Have waited 3 yrs. for this one to bloom. Finally. Strong scape. Many buds. Great substance. Needs time to put its excellent genetics into its bloom. FFO




ELVIS - 2nd flower. Elvis was given a makeover last week, with amended soil and vitamins!! Yum! The color is a pale lavender pink. Kaskel's Best Edge

It's getting darker purple as the season progresses- not yet as dark as one in the database from Tink, I believe...

I just checked out the database, Tink's is a little darker, looks like 3 different daylilies there with the different colors.

I think you should add your photo to the db, it's a very good photo.

WC has always done very well in this zone, and I have it under the partial shade of a hemlock tree. Tough plant.

I agree WILD CHILD looks perfect in your picture. It is one that has been on my wish list for some time.

Keith, you are giving me hope. My Wild Child was one of the most ugly flowers I have ever seen! And that was it, just the one flower. Maybe next year I will actually see something pretty.
I had one pretty decent flower on AC but the second flower was a dud. then no more.

Yes, I have had a few that I had high expectation for and they turned out to be disappointments. ALEXA K. was one here that I totally sold out of because it just never looked like the pictures for me.
