I see from photos in the database that some of you grow the Sunsparkler series sedums. How are they doing for you? Do you have photos of mature plants in bloom? I found the collection of 12, 3 of each of the 4 for $69.95. That's about $5.81 a plant. I really only need one of each to get me started. Would anyone be interested in buying some of the extras or trading me some other hardy sedums? I haven't ordered yet, but am thinking about it. Have you ordered from this place?
I have three of them, but not the Blue Pearl. They're doing well here. I got them last fall and they were quite small. I'll see if I can get some updated pictures for you. I still have them in containers but plant to plant in the garden if I ever get time.
Finally....got some pictures. They aren't really flowering yet, mostly just buds, but here they are. They're a bit gangly - probably should've pinched them back.
I've been working on cleaning out one of the borders in my back yard and plan to put all my sedum in there. It's a slow process though, but ultimately, yes I hope they get them in the ground this summer yet.
Chris, you sing out loud, like when you are in bear country, maybe carry a tin can and stick with you that you can bang on once in awhile. That way they keep their distance. Besides night time is cool time.
Let's see - I'll be running around outside with flood lights on, banging on pots, at 2:00 AM. Hmmmm....I don't think any of the dogs in the neighborhood would bark, do you? I know the neighbors already think I'm a bit crazy, but this will have them calling for help!
Chris, you should not risk any skunking events. Just put them in the mail and I will plant them for you.
Susan I do not have Lime Zinger. I purchased them this Spring/Summer from my local Nursery I did not know they were a new series. If they survive the winter next summer I should be able to share them.
