Is it the case that every single Sempervivum has all the above colors present? I think there are some that don't have pink or brown, for example. In such a case it's not appropriate to add those colors to the parent plant. The values get copied down to all children plants.

No they don't all have the same colors. But some do change color according to season.
Like these Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Oh My')

Dave, I've noticed that new entries to the Sempervivum and Jovibarba databases are not doing an automatic fill in for this information.
Could you set it to do that?
This is on the plant specific fields for both Sempervivum and Jovibarba.

When you say they are not doing an automatic fill, do you mean you want these fields to be checked off in the parent plant and then subsequently copied down to all the children plants? If that's the case, the system does not support this. Only the options under Primary Plant Details can be checked off for parent plants. The custom architecture is only available to the children plants.

By children plants do you mean new entries made to the database?
If so that is what I would like. Whenever a new entry is made for sempervivum I would like these fields automatically filled in. Is that doable?

That's not possible. Only the fields under the Primary Plant Details can be automatically filled in.
