I am trying to find "Taffy Confection", a 2004 introduction of Joan Roberts. I need your help. I am looking for a member of Dave's first site (Dave's Garden). That member is:

Eroctuse2

They posted a picture of "Taffy Confection" in 2009 on that site. Anyone know this person? Can some one contact them and let them know I am looking for "Taffy Confection" and have them contact me? Thanks!

There were two folks on Dave's Garden who posted pictures of this cultivar. I already contacted the other person and they no longer have it.

Thanks to Arlyn's efforts and attempts through several forms of media, I got in touch with Eroctuse2. He never had this iris. He photographed it at the 2005 AIS convention in St. Louis. Bummer.

Joan Roberts does not have much of a web pressence to start with, so it is hard to track down her introductions. I am getting a "bad feeling" that 3 or 4 of her intros may be "lost forever". A very sad tale for introductions that are not even a decade old! Her is the short list of the missing and their intro dates:

Home Again Kathleen 2005
Taffy Confection 2004
Cherry Surprise 2005
Lady Claire 2001

Until recently, "Blue on Blue" was also on that list. I found that cultivar in the garden of the AIS president!

Please help if you can. Let me know if you have any of these on the list. You can also tell me/chat of other Joan Roberts introductions you have (there are others that I need for my "collection" that are still available that I have yet to get).
