Wow! I just got caught up from the 6th. You guys have been BUSY! I loved seeing each & every one. Margaret, it's great to see ones we aren't familiar with way on down here. Dave, how cool! It sounds like you are jumping in both feet first with the butterfly count. for you, Lin, have a great time.

Well it's a Swallowtail day here at Happily EverAfter. Most days I have Eastern Tigers but it is not everyday that I have the Pipevine.

Dave, great pics and I love the Joe Pye weed, at least I think that's what it is. I must grow some!

Beautiful photos Melanie. I really wish I would see a Monarch. I haven't seen one in years. Christine that particular Joe Pye is called Little Joe as it "only" gets about 6 foot tall. It spreads each year but is easy to contain. Makes an excellent nectaring source for the butterflies.

I just bought some of that "Little Joe" Joe Pye Weed a few months ago! Glad to see it's such a butterfly attractor. Mine is only about two feet tall right now but I'm sure it will grow!

Also had to share with you the new growth of the A. Tuberosa that I dug from a field that is going to be turned into lots for houses. I transplanted it a week ago. I think it is now home free.
