What kind of growing conditions are you giving Astello Indigo? I bought a plant of it this Spring, planted it and it died. Sad

Marilyn,
It is growing in lean decent draining soil. Up until two weeks ago we had lots of rain. Now it is dry but this plant gets hit by the sprinkler system 3 times a week. We will see how it over winters.

Thanks! I tip my hat to you.

I thought if I left the seeds on the plant, that maybe they'll self sow. I thought the spot I planted it in was lean decent draining soil.

Maybe I should cut them off and scatter them in another bed. Or, do half & half (this bed and another bed). I'll think about it later.

I love all the photos! I bought Agastache 'Nectar' Mix today at Lowes. It has like 3 colors in one pot. They smell better than any Agastache I've ever grown. My entire car smelled like mint!

I really like the purple one. The blooms are very large on that one. I like being able to pick through these in bloom and find the one that looks the best. Hurray!

When I was at Lowe's, I bought single pots of the Raspberry, Grapefruit and Grape. The Mix had Raspberry, Orange and Apricot.

I planted all the single Nectar pots into the ground and ended up planting the 2 Mix in a container tub together.

I haven't been to our Lowe's awhile. Probably all sold out of the 'must have' and/or 'desirable' plants.

(on a side note): looking forward next year to see what Kermit at Flowers By The Sea offers on Agastaches! Hurray! Lovey dubby Thumbs up

Gorgeous! Drooling Lovey dubby Hurray! Thumbs up

What soil conditions are you giving them? The ones I planted in the ground could be doing a lot better.

Marilyn - I think they are doing well because I've been watering them more often. I think they need extra water the first year, especially when you first plant them. I did mix composted cow manure and bone meal in this bed the last two years, but I think they just need some extra water.

I shouldn't have come to this forum tonight. Now I see all these Agastache I want so much. I already bought two Agastache ‘Tutti Frutti’ at Lowes this week and one called 'Lilac Sprite' at Lowes this week.

I haven't grown Lilac Sprite yet. Sounds like a wonderful variety!

Post pics of it in bloom and add them to the database. We don't have pics of it.

I didn't get Lilac Sprite because all the plants I saw were pathetic sprigs that were like 90% dead. But the color is very close to some of the other purple agastaches. I'm kinda disappointed in some of my "new" agastaches.. firebird & ... oh.. what was the red one I got? They're almost 100% identical. I can't tell a difference.

What was the red one? I'm all ears! Drooling

I agree some of the new ones look similar, but I love the looks of Kudos Coral! Lovey dubby I have 3 plants of it, but haven't been able to capture the gorgeous true color in my pics.
