Sunny and 46, winds at 9 MPH will lower to 3 MPH within the hour so I'll wait until then to go back to trimming down the Japanese irises. I am wishing for a mild winter like the last one.
If not I guess I'll be back to sorting Tic Tacs by color or going through mounds of plastic storage containers and lids that never seem to match = long winter.
LOL...sounds like my winters......today was lovely....48 & sunny...cleared up the rhodo branches my son cut down to get to the phone box...that's another story!...so I brought them down to the brush pile down back. My Christmas lights are up, had them in place for Light Up the Town, now I just have to pay the electric bill come January!
Today was collect bagged leaves again day. Drive around and load up the car, drive home and unload. Go do it all over again. It was a nice enough day weatherwise.
So I managed to bring home and stack 63 bags. Now I have to haul them all upstairs to mulch those gardens back there.
Not much rain this morning but it's due to get heavier, returning tomorrow and back again. We should have sun by Thursday afternoon. It gives me a rest from cutting back Japanese irises. Now 55, going to 60.
Rita, you must be exhausted! Rain here, quite heavy....did get a morning walk in, but not this afternoon! We need the rain desperately, though, so no complaints.
Not a day for going outside as have having steady rain. It is good for the garden.
I knew we were going to get the rain today so I had to get the bagged leaves I needed yesterday. Wednesday morning early they come and pickup so any bagged leaves would be gone.
I am really sore today. But because of the rain no garden work so I will be fine by tomorrow.
