I never had reason to doubt my GG was a semp, so I agree with you. Glad to see you've resolved the puzzle. Nice pics of a nice plant!

I updated the name of this thread.
Chris your photos are much better than mine. Would you add them to the database? Lower Mountain Sedum (Rosularia alpestris)

Lynn had asked me how this one was doing. Because it's so unusual I thought I'd start a thread about it so we can follow it easier. Actually it's funny you should ask about this one Lynn, as I just had a conversation with @sandnsea2 about it last week.

Here are some recent pictures.

It continues with the strange form. I had received it from sandnsea2 in 2012 so asked if hers also looked so unusual. (I actually think it looks like a jovi heuffelli cross pollinated with a sempervivum!) She got it from Youngs and said she contacted them once with a photo to be sure the ID was correct and they said it was how it should be. Sounds like Janice's out grew that form as it got older so I'm curious to see how this one will do since in it's second year it remains strange. All the rosettes have this odd form.

I know one thing, we may not know what she is, but I think she is so beautiful...Thanks for sharing. Billy Perez Thank You!

It really is a cool little plant Billy. A nice companion to semps. Smiling
