All I could think was, what would I need, a stockade around the property to keep people from coming in and helping themselves? Like I need that sort of trouble?? But then, I'm one of what seems to be quite a small group of people who went to college in the late '60s/early '70s and never smoked pot or did any other drugs...

Me too, Sandy. Finished HS in 1961, college in 1966, and dental school in 1970, and never smoked pot or used drugs. I think the south, and particularly states like Mississippi, without a large, metropolitan city, was probably the last areas to see illegal drugs. I am sure they were around, just "under the table". Now, when I lived in New Orleans those four years of dental school, there was plenty of illegal drugs available. I just had no interest..............and at 72, I still don't. Heck, I can't stand the stink of pot and that's the main reason I quit going to concerts that I knew would bring in the kind of folks that liked to "lite-up". I haven't been to a concert where pot was present in three decades.

I think it's a nice crossover movie for both 'heads and non -pot-heads. The humor works well from either perspective. Her reason for growing it is to save the family manor when her husband died after squandering ALL their savings.

I had a steel rod inserted in my leg before the bone brke. had the surgery Wednesday and was released for good behavior on Thursday.

I hope you're fully mobile again soon. To fully recover from each day of bed rest takes (I forget) either a week of PT, or a month.

One day after surgery? Did the operating room have a catapult so as soon as they finished the stitching, the doc yelled "PULL!" ?

Long hospital stays (3 days!) after surgery are pretty much a thing of the past.

Guy has an appointment with his female dentist to have a tooth pulled. He sits in the chair and the dentist pulls out a needle. He stops her and says he can't take a needle because it hurts to much. She says ok let me put you out and begins to take the mask out. Again he stops her and says he doesn't like that because it makes him have terrible dreams. Smiling at him she asks if he is ok taking a Viagra pill. He says won't that give me an errection. She says it will and he will have something to hang onto while she yanks his tooth out. 😄😄
